If you are one of our Readers in Italy or curious about the state of Italian healthcare technology as part of EU developments, 14 healthcare and IT system groups have come together for a meeting on technology innovation. The meeting will examine how health system stakeholders are developing and deploying software that supports the strategic, organizational, operational and clinical processes of service provision. The main discussion will center on sustainability, usability, performance, and interoperability with a focus on the EU’s Horizon 2020 and Italy’s particular situation in (translation) “extreme institutional, managerial and technical confusion.
