Print as PDF Instructions
Unlike printing your selection to paper, which has to be done at the time, the advantage of turning it into a PDF file is that you can save and read or print it at your leisure.
However, to convert your selection of items into a PDF, you first need to install a PDF file creator program on your computer. Fortunately, this is easier than it first sounds.
There are a number of print to PDF file generators around, but TinyPDF or AcroPDF are popular for Windows users and free for personal use. After you have downloaded and installed the software they add their name to the list of printers you see in the Printer Name dropdown in your print dialog box.
Then, when you click on the ‘Print Your Selection’ button and see the print dialog box, you use the printer name dropdown to select the PDF printer rather than your physical printer. You then print, and this is what creates the PDF file.
